Hedda just had a weekend in Bali with her friend Alan. After doing lectures for HSH in Jakarta, she enjoyed 4 massages in less than 48 hours, witch made the weekend feel like a week of vacation. Back in Oslo focus is packaging, retail concepts and more packaging - some great projects are being launched in stores this spring and fall - Hedda is a very proud Sukker mama ;-)

Annie is spending her time in Egypt with her son Alexander and his friend, where she is enjoying snorkeling and sightseeing the pyramids. She has, after a lot of back and forth, finally finished redecorating her place, after all the moving last summer. When she is not with Hedda keeping the ”grains of sugar” at bay, she is leading on the Norwegian
”designbyråforeningen”, where she is an active debater.

Per-Erik has been keeping busy with his music. He has been on a talent show on TV2, and he has just been in Bergen to record an album, which according to him, went very good. We hope he will remember us “mortals” when he is a big international star. He is still the part of sukker who has got he biggest ”sukker-rush” and is constantly spreading his good mood and energy to the rest of the bunch.

June charged her batteries for nearly a month in The Caribbean learning to windsurf and kite – a good kick-start before recently coming to Sukker as an Account Manager. She has a drive for making things happen at work as well as when she is off, charging her life with things that makes her smile; be it skiing in the mountains or painting in the city.

Alex spent the Easter in Germany, searching for eggs and driving a tractor in the coldest Easter Germany has seen in 40 years. He was also a great help to some local farmers in assisting to milk their cows. Alex has found himself a new hobby playing bandy. He has an ongoing bet with Per-Erik whether or not he will break something before this fall. Who will win remains to be seen.

Hanna has been all over the place lately. From vine tasting in Italy to skiing in Chamonix, she is truly living life. She has expanded her artistic side by attending her first musical, Singin’ in the rain, which she loved. Is this a new passion in the making?
Hanna’s son, Gustav came to visit sukker, after he thought he deserved a day off from the troubling life of pre-school, which is very understandable.

Gro and her girlfriend have become quite the construction team. The fact that none of them have ever done anything like it before and the only information they have accumulated concerning the job at hand is from a clerk at the hardware store telling them how he believes it should be done. But, despite a few factors working against them, it only took them two weekends to make their 3-rooms apartment into a 4-rooms.

Ellen has traveled a lot lately. She has been to France for a few days with Ostecompaniet and she went to Düsseldorf with Alex for the Euroshop retail fair. She has also been to Denmark and Tønsberg. When she is not traveling or at the office she is usually with her son Leo, who is becoming quite the alpinist. The two of them are taking trips up the mountains during the weekends to make every last bit of the winter season count.

Ellen K’s life is quite sweet these days. She’s still going strong at SATS and the best thing to do after a hard days work at Sukker is a sweaty hour on the bicycle. (At least every now and then…) During the Easter she went to London to visit good Aussie friends. She is also planning a trip to Spain as soon as possible.

Silje has just visited Barcelona and fallen in love. They are no men in the picture, and her “chosen one” is in fact the whole city of Barcelona. She truly found her paradise on earth and can’t wait to return.
This fall she is finally taking her step into adulthood and has decided to go back to school. The only question remaining is where? So far, that question cannot be answered by anyone, least of all Silje. Only time will tell.

Sissel’s creativity won’t stop even when she’s off the clock. She often spends time in her studio, creating new works of art. This Easter she went with her daughter Malin to Madrid. While there she visited different museums, and gained a lot of inspiration for both work and painting. But Sissel has a third true passion, snorkeling. A passion she is able to put to good use in and outside the office. Whether its liquids or solids she is diving through, she will find whatever needs finding.

Nina is sukker’s new industrial designer. When she is not busy working, she tries to spend as much time as possible in the great outdoors. From off-road biking to jogging. She is also a frequent visitor of Hemsedal to improve her skills at telemark.
On a holiday in October, she went to Stadt for a surfing trip, so she is not one for standing around not doing anything, and definitely a great addition to our sukker family.

Christian is sukker’s new intern. When he is not running around the office doing whatever needs doing, he attends an art class to help improve his creative side.
He has recently moved out of his old “nest” and into a place he is sharing with some of his friends. Despite late nights with painting and wrestling with different IKEA items he still manages to find time to get up in the mountains and get his skiing on.

Reidar might have left Norway, but he is still a part of Sukker. Well, at least when he gets his computer online. Until then he is, supposedly, spending his days at the beach in 30 degrees Celsius armed with sunscreen and a surfboard. He really deserves a break, but man, are we jealous! Reidar has also suposedly found some time for biking and is aparently getting really good. He was home for christmas but went back to australia just over new years.
